Terms of Service
The deal, in plain English.
Last updated 2 November 2026
These are the terms you agree to when you buy a More Calls package. We've written them to be read, not to hide things. If anything here is unclear, call and ask before you sign up.
1. Who you're dealing with
More Calls is a trading name of Ryan Sullivan, a sole trader based in England.
- Trading name
- More Calls
- Proprietor
- Ryan Sullivan
- Trading address
- 6 Moorside Road, Mossley, OL5 9JU
- hello@morecalls.uk
- Phone
- 07857 329 315
- ICO registration
- ZC266633
- VAT
- Not VAT registered. No VAT is charged on our prices.
Where these terms say "we" or "us", that means More Calls. Where they say "you", that means the business buying the service.
2. When these terms start applying
Our agreement starts when you complete checkout and your first payment succeeds. At that point you're agreeing to these terms as they read on that date. We'll email you a copy so you've always got them.
These terms are between businesses. If you're buying as a consumer rather than for a trade or business, tell us before you sign up, because different rules apply to you and we'd rather get that right at the start.
3. What you're buying
A monthly local visibility service. Over the course of the service we will:
- Get you listed on Google Maps and Apple Maps.
- Set up, verify and manage the Google Business Profile behind your Google Maps listing.
- List you across the directories that matter for your trade and area.
- Build and host a website for your business, built and tuned for search.
- Work on your local search rankings every month for the searches we agree with you.
- Add and update content on your site, such as pages for the services and towns people search for, as your rankings need it.
- Monitor your rankings, visits and calls, and act when something slips.
- Keep the site updated, secure and running.
- Send you a plain-English report every month covering calls, visits and where they came from.
- Answer your questions by phone and email for as long as you're with us.
The honest version: we're a visibility service, not a web design service. The website is one of the tools we use. What you're paying for is being the tradesman who gets found and called in your area.
4. What we need from you
We handle everything technical. What we need from you is small but it isn't optional:
- Information about your business at the start — what you do, where you work, your contact details, and photos of your work if you have them.
- Manager access to your Google Business Profile — the account behind your Google Maps listing. You add us as a manager from your side. It takes a couple of minutes, we'll talk you through it, and you can remove us again whenever you like.
- Access to your Apple Maps listing, where you want one. Apple handles business listings through Apple Business, which until 2026 was called Apple Business Connect. It needs an Apple ID and a claimed listing, and you then invite us into your account as a team member. Apple's process is clunkier than Google's — if you haven't claimed your listing yet, we'll do it with you on the phone.
- The same kind of access to any other account we need to work on. We will never ask you for a password. Every account is granted by you adding us, and every one of them can be taken back by you at any time without going through us.
- A reply within a reasonable time when we ask you something. We can't rank a business we can't get hold of.
- Accurate information. If you tell us you're Gas Safe registered, or that you cover a town you don't, that's on you.
If we can't get what we need from you, the work stalls, and time spent waiting doesn't count towards the guarantee in section 8.
5. Price and payment
The price is £95 per month, covering everything in section 3. There's no setup fee and no separate charges for hosting, updates, monitoring or reporting.
- Payment is monthly in advance, taken by card on the same date each month.
- Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added. If we register for VAT in future we'll tell you before it affects what you pay.
- The price you join at is the price you keep for as long as you stay subscribed, even if our price for new customers goes up. That includes the yearly plan: each renewal is at the yearly price you joined at. If you cancel and later come back, you rejoin at the price for new customers at that time.
- If a payment fails we'll let you know and try again. If it's still unpaid after 14 days we may pause the service until it's settled.
Referral credit
Send us someone who signs up, and we'll knock £25 a month off your bill for as long as they stay a customer.
- The credit starts the month after their first payment clears, and continues every month they're with us.
- You can hold up to three at once, so the lowest your bill can go is £20 a month.
- If someone you referred cancels, that £25 comes off your credit from the following month. We'll tell you when it happens rather than letting you find it on a statement.
- It has to be a real referral — someone who hadn't already spoken to us before you sent them.
- Section 7 still applies: we can't take on a direct competitor in your own patch, so a referral needs to be a different trade, a different area, or both. We won't sell your slot out from under you, even if you're the one who suggested it.
Why we do it this way: tradesmen talk to tradesmen, and a word from you is worth more than anything we could spend on advertising. We'd rather hand that money to you than to Google.
Paying for a year up front
If you'd rather pay once and forget about it, a year costs £950 — twelve months for the price of ten. That's £190 saved against paying monthly, and works out at £79.17 a month.
- It renews each year, and we warn you first. Seven days before your renewal date, an automatic email goes out telling you the date and the amount. It's sent by our payment system, not by us remembering, so it goes every time.
- You can stop it or change it with one reply. Tell us any time before the renewal date and you can cancel outright, or switch to the £95 monthly plan instead — which takes effect at the renewal, with nothing extra to pay in the meantime. No forms, no notice period, no phone call you have to endure.
- If you cancel part way through, we refund the whole months you haven't used, charging the normal £95 monthly rate for the months you did use. The discount was for committing to the year, so leaving early means you don't keep it. The table below shows exactly what that comes to.
- The refund never goes below zero. By the tenth month the £95 rate has accounted for the whole £950, so from then on there's no refund — and equally, there is never anything further to pay. You cannot end up owing us money by cancelling.
- If we miss the guarantee, that's different. Our failure isn't your early exit, so we refund every remaining month at the rate you actually paid — £79.17 — and you keep the discount. The guarantee is measured 20 weeks after your start date (section 8), and we refund every month after the one it ends in. If your start date is a week after you pay, it ends in your fifth month, so you'd get £554.17 back — the seven months left, at £79.17 each — and you're free to walk or take the free three months in section 8.
- Referral credit works the same way on an annual plan. We settle it up as a refund at the end of the year rather than changing what you pay each month.
So you can see it rather than take our word for it, here is every outcome on a £950 year:
| You cancel after | Charged for months used | Refunded to you | If we missed the guarantee |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 month | £95 | £855 | £870.83 |
| 2 months | £190 | £760 | £791.67 |
| 3 months | £285 | £665 | £712.50 |
| 4 months | £380 | £570 | £633.33 |
| 5 months | £475 | £475 | £554.17 |
| 6 months | £570 | £380 | £475.00 |
| 7 months | £665 | £285 | £395.83 |
| 8 months | £760 | £190 | £316.67 |
| 9 months | £855 | £95 | £237.50 |
| 10, 11 or 12 months | £950 | Nothing — and nothing to pay | £158.33 / £79.17 / £0 |
The last column is what you'd get instead if we missed the guarantee, because then it's our failure rather than your change of mind — so you keep the discounted £79.17 rate and we refund every remaining month at it. The guarantee is measured 20 weeks after your start date, which is never earlier than your fifth month, so in practice that column only comes into play from month five onwards.
Why we renew rather than let it lapse: a year of work stopping dead because an email got missed would undo the rankings you paid for. So it continues, but we tell you a week ahead, every time, and switching to monthly or stopping is one reply. We'd rather you stayed because it's working.
6. How long it lasts, and cancelling
There's no minimum term and no long contract. It runs month to month until you stop it.
Short version: cancel whenever you like. The service runs to the end of the month you've already paid for, and then stops. We don't refund part months.
To cancel, email hello@morecalls.uk or call us. We'll confirm in writing. You don't have to give a reason and we won't put you through a retention script.
Full details of what happens to your website, your listings and your profile when you leave are in section 10 and in our cancellation and refunds policy.
7. One slot per trade, per area
We only take one business per trade, per area. While you're a customer we won't take on a directly competing business in your agreed area. Your trade and area are agreed with you at the start and recorded in writing.
If you cancel, your slot is released and we're free to offer it to someone else — including a competitor. We can't hold it open for you.
8. The guarantee
We say we'll get your business on the front page of Google within 20 weeks of your start date, or you stop paying. Here's exactly what that means, so there's no argument about it later.
We check your area before we begin work
A guarantee is only worth something if we've checked we can keep it. So before we begin any work, we agree three things with you — your trade, the area you cover, and the list of searches your guarantee is measured on — and we check them: who currently holds the front page for those searches, how established they are, and how realistic it is to get past them. We also check that your trade and area aren't already taken by one of our customers (section 7).
If you spoke to us first — most people do — that check happens during the call, before you pay anything. If we don't think we can win a search, we'll say so and we won't put it on the list. If we don't think we can win any of them, we'll tell you that and we won't take your money.
If you signed up straight from the website, checkout only asks for your main service and the town you work from; your trade, area and searches are agreed with you afterwards. We call you within one working day of your payment to agree them and your searches, and we finish the check within three working days of your payment, before any work begins. One of three things happens:
- We can win them. We confirm the agreed list of searches in writing, and your 20 weeks start from your start date: the day your new website is live and your Google Maps listing is verified, whichever comes later. Nothing else changes.
- We can win a tighter version. We'll explain which searches we'd swap and why, and you choose whether to go ahead on that basis or take the refund below.
- We can't win it, or your trade and area are already taken by one of our customers. We refund you in full — every penny, no deductions, no argument — and we tell you honestly why. You're free to go elsewhere with our blessing.
In plain terms: your first three working days are on approval. We'd rather hand your money straight back than take it for months and hand it back then — and we'd much rather do that than pretend we could win a patch we couldn't.
What we're promising
That within 20 weeks of your start date, your business is on the front page of Google for every search on your agreed list, when searched from the area that search covers. We aim to get you there within three months, but the promise, and everything in this section that depends on it, is 20 weeks.
Your start date
Your 20 weeks start on your start date: the day your new website is live and your Google Maps listing is verified, whichever comes later. Google can't rank a business it can't see properly, so the clock starts when both are in place. We email you the date when the clock starts.
- Your billing doesn't wait for it. You pay from your first payment as normal, and the weeks before your start date go on setting you up: building your website and getting your listing ready. Only the guarantee clock waits.
- Delays caused by Google don't eat into your 20 weeks. If Google is slow to verify your listing, or to merge a duplicate one, your clock simply hasn't started yet.
Front page means either the map results or the top ten ordinary results. Either one counts, because from a customer's point of view both mean they found you without scrolling.
How it's measured
- An agreed list of searches, written down before we begin work — five of them, covering your town and the places nearby you want work from. The guarantee applies to that list, not to every possible search someone might type.
- Checks are run from a fixed spread of points across the area each search covers, and we take the middle result. Map results change depending on where the searcher is standing, so one check from one spot proves nothing — for you or for us.
- We check on multiple days across the last four weeks of the 20. Rankings move around naturally, so the test is whether you're reliably on the front page, not whether you're pinned to one spot every second of every day.
- It's the same report for both of us, and we'll show you the results either way.
What happens if we miss it
If any search on your list isn't on the front page, we've missed it. Not most of them, not the important ones — any of them. We agreed that list because we believed we could win all of it, so there's no sliding scale and nothing for us to argue about.
You stop paying at the 20-week mark. We won't ask you to prove anything or fill in a form — we're tracking it anyway and we'll tell you either way. From there it's your call:
- Walk away, owing nothing further. No notice, no exit fee, and everything in section 10 about keeping your listings still applies.
- Stay on free while we finish the job. We keep working at no charge until every search on the list is on the front page, for up to three further months. If we get there in that time, normal billing restarts from the following month and you'll have had those months free. If we don't, the agreement ends, and you've paid nothing since the 20-week mark for a result we didn't deliver.
We cap the free period at three months so it's a real commitment with a real end, rather than an open promise neither of us ever closes out.
If the target turns out to be unwinnable
Occasionally a patch changes under everyone's feet — a national chain moves in, Google reshapes how the map works, or a search turns out to be fought over far harder than it looked when we checked. If that happens and it's nobody's fault, we won't pretend the original list still makes sense. We'll tell you what changed, show you the evidence, and offer you a revised list — usually swapping the affected search for a tighter one we can genuinely win — which you're free to accept or decline. If you decline, you're treated exactly as if we'd missed the original list: you stop paying, and you can walk.
We can't use this to wriggle out of a target we simply didn't hit. It applies where the ground moved, not where we underperformed.
When the guarantee doesn't apply
The guarantee assumes we can actually do the work. It doesn't apply where:
- You didn't give us the access or information we asked for, or took a long time to respond, so the clock was stopped waiting on you.
- You or someone else changed your Google Business Profile, website or listings in a way that worked against what we were doing.
- Your Google Business Profile was suspended or restricted for reasons outside our control — for instance, a verification problem or a rule you'd broken before we started.
- The information you gave us was inaccurate or misleading.
- You cancelled before the 20 weeks were up. The guarantee needs its full 20 weeks to run.
9. Things we don't control
Google, Apple and the directories are third parties. We don't own them, we can't call them, and they change how they work without telling anyone. We're good at working with them and we watch your numbers constantly — but nobody can guarantee a specific position on a specific day, which is why the guarantee in section 8 is written the way it is.
We also can't control what your competitors do, or how many people search for your trade in your town in a given month.
10. Your website, your listings, your accounts
While you're with us
We build, host, update and secure your website as part of the monthly price. Your Google Business Profile belongs to you — we work on it as a manager you've added, not as its owner.
If you leave
- Your Google Maps and Apple Maps listings stay yours. We remove our access from both. Nothing we've done to them is taken away — the reviews, the photos, the categories and the descriptions all stay.
- Your directory listings stay live and in your name.
- The website stops being hosted at the end of your final paid month, because hosting is part of what the monthly fee pays for. We'll give you 30 days' notice before it comes down. After 12 months you can park it instead, and after two years it's yours to take.
- Your content is yours. Your text, your photos, your business information — ask and we'll send you a copy in a format you can hand to whoever builds your next site.
- In your first two years, the website itself doesn't transfer, unless it's a design you brought with you (see the next point). Until then it's part of the service, built on our system and running on our hosting, and it comes down when the service ends, unless you park it. We'd rather say that plainly here than have it be a nasty surprise on the way out.
- If we recreated a design you already had, you get it back. If your website is a copy of one you had before, moved over to us from another host or system, that design was yours before it came to us. We keep a copy of it as it was when you joined. When you leave, we'll send you that copy as plain HTML files with its text, images and styling, ready for any host to put online, together with any text and photos you have given us since. The pages and changes we made while you were with us are part of the service and stay with us. Hosting it from then on is up to you. This assumes the original design was yours to use (see section 11).
- Your domain comes with you if you want it, for a £75 admin fee — see below. It's free once you've been with us two years, and if you brought your own domain to us in the first place, it was always yours and there's nothing to pay.
The short version: everything that was already yours stays yours — your listings, your profile, your reviews, your content, your own domain, and a website design you brought to us. After 12 months you can park your website for £39 a month. After two years, the website and the domain are yours to take, free.
After two years, the website is yours
Once you've been with us for two years (24 monthly payments, or two yearly ones), the website we built comes with you when you leave, and so does the domain, with nothing to pay.
- The whole site, as plain HTML files: every page, with its text, images and styling, ready for any host to put online.
- The domain, transferred to you free. The £75 admin fee below doesn't apply.
- A few parts run on our system, not on the website itself: the contact form, the call tracking and the monthly report. We take those out of the copy cleanly so nothing on the site breaks, and your phone number stays on every page.
- From then on, hosting, updates and security are up to you or whoever you choose.
Parking your website, after 12 months
If you've been with us for 12 months or more and want to stop the service but keep your website online, you can park it for £39 a month instead of leaving.
- What carries on: we keep hosting the website on your domain, keep its security certificate and security updates current, and renew the domain.
- What stops: the monthly report, ranking work, work on your Google Maps listing, changes to the website, and the guarantee. The site stays as it was on the day you parked it, and we remove our manager access from your Google Maps listing.
- No contract. It's billed monthly in advance and you can stop it at any time; the website then comes down as described above, with 30 days' notice.
- Months parked don't count towards the two years.
- Come back whenever you like to the full service, at the price you were paying before you parked, if your slot is still free. While you're parked, your trade and area aren't held for you (see section 7).
Taking the domain with you
We register your domain ourselves as part of setting you up. That keeps the domain, the hosting, the DNS and the security certificate in one place, so when something needs fixing we can just fix it instead of talking you through a registrar control panel on a Sunday.
If you leave and want to keep the domain, we'll transfer it to you for a one-off £75.
- That's the admin, not a penalty — unlocking it, generating the authorisation code and seeing the transfer through to whoever you're moving to. It is not a cancellation fee; we don't have one.
- It's the domain only. In your first two years the website doesn't transfer — you'd be taking the address, not what's built at it — unless it's a design you brought with you, which we send back to you as it was when you joined (see above).
- Free after two years, along with the website itself (see above).
- It's optional. Walk away without it and you owe nothing further.
- Nothing to pay at all if you brought your own domain to us. That one was always yours and we'll simply hand back control.
If you already own a domain you'd rather use, tell us at the start and we'll talk it through. It's usually simpler for everyone if we handle it, but it's your business and your call.
11. Your responsibilities
- Everything you tell us about your business must be true, including any trade qualifications, certifications or accreditations you claim.
- Anything you give us to publish — photos, reviews, text — must be yours to use. Don't send us photos of someone else's work.
- You must hold whatever licences, registrations and insurance your trade requires. We don't check these and we're not responsible for them.
- You're responsible for the work you do for the customers who find you. We put you in front of them; what happens next is between you and them.
12. Our responsibility to you
We'll carry out the service with reasonable care and skill.
If we get something wrong and it costs you money, our total liability to you is limited to the total amount you've paid us in the twelve months before the problem arose. We're not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost contracts, or loss of anticipated savings.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
13. When we might end the agreement
We can end the agreement by giving you 30 days' notice, and we'll refund any part month you've paid for if we're the ones walking away.
We won't use that notice to get out of the free three months in section 8. If we've missed the target and you've chosen to stay on while we finish the job, that period runs its course.
We can end it immediately, without a refund, if you don't pay after we've chased you, if you're abusive to us, or if you ask us to do something dishonest — such as publishing qualifications you don't hold or reviews that aren't real.
14. Your data
How we handle information about you and your business is set out in our privacy policy. In short: we collect what we need to run the service, we don't sell it, and you can ask for a copy or ask us to delete it.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change affects you materially, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you don't like the change, cancel before it starts and it won't apply to you.
We won't use a change to these terms to raise the price you pay. The price you joined at stays yours, as section 5 says.
16. If something goes wrong
Call us. Most things get sorted in one phone call. If it doesn't, email hello@morecalls.uk with the detail and we'll respond within five working days.
17. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
